The Boeing Company’s **Global Support Center** is looking for a Project Engineer to support the team in **Jakarta, Indonesia** or** Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia**. This position will be responsible for planning and executing actions required to successfully implement the activities of GSC in Southeast Asia.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Coordinates with various stakeholders and internal teams in the South East Asia region and globally
- Leads the development of new and improving existing technologies, tools and processes to enhance technology readiness, improve Aircraft performance and reduce cycle time and cost (improve Efficiency and increase Capacity)
- Plans, conducts, coordinates and/or develops test requirements and evaluates test results to ensure compliance with requirements
- Ability to hold conversations with Airlines, Regulators and Various Customer high level leadership to address questions and concerns in a confident manner
- Develops Boeing responses to proposed regulations that impact cost, performance, efficiency, maintainability and safety. This is accomplished by integrating various technical and engineering team support and helping to guide them in providing consultation to Boeing customer base in SE Asia.
- Collects and evaluates operational data (e.g. airplane performance characteristics, flight profile data, takeoff and landing performance, noise profiles, weight and balance, operation with missing or inoperative equipment, etc.) plus lead and develop methods for delivery of data in formats required by customers, this could be workshops, seminars, airport and airline location visits, one on one meetings...etc.
- Leads and performs research of regulations on flight operation, develops required data and evaluates suitability with customers and regulatory agencies
- Communicates with senior external personnel to learn their expectations and to seek optimized solutions for customers and stakeholders
- Participates in the aerospace industry organizational activities and recognized as expert within department
- Develops, maintains and enhances the relationship with customers via exchanging information/operation data and lead and develop proactive solution recommendations
- Assists customers and the Boeing Company to prepare for delivery of new equipment and/or types of operation. Work with external organizations like sales and marketing to provide customer solutions and identify revenue opportunities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with customers/partner, internally within the team and with management
- Trains and coaches others. Ability to provide and deliver Instructions for workshops to our stake
- holders on a variety of technical topics
- Works under mínimal direction

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:

- Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering, or any other relevant engineering major.
- 10-12+ years of Aviation background
- Boeing Commercial Airplanes knowledge
- Ability to **Travel frequently will be required (25-50%) of the time both domestically and internationally.**:

- Proficiency with MS office suite.
- Individuals must have excellent mathematical skills.
- Experience with direct face-to-face interactions with customers, (Customer-facing).
- Good judgment, extreme discretion and flexibility in work hours.
- Excellent communications and people skills are essential. Individuals must be self-motivated, with team unity in mind at all times.
- A strong work ethic, willingness to demonstrate initiative and attention to detail.
- Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics and a track record of working successfully under pressure within a time-constrained environment.
- Must be a good team player and hold a high standard of honesty and integrity.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
- Project management certification or demonstrated project management experience
