**About the Role**

You will design and manage data heavy processes, survey experimental design to ensure statistical relevance and actionable insights are created. You'll process and analyze the data in context, looking for patterns to help make decisions. You will then advise on findings and recommend strategy.

You will interpret data and communicate results to the company, often with the aid of mathematical techniques and software. In this role you'll ensure that complex statistical concepts are explained in a way the client can understand, and advise on strategy.

You will be working with a scientific team and farming team, proven to be at the cutting edge of the industry. We are thought leaders in aquaculture and your ideas and creations will impact the livelihoods of thousands of people.

This role is full of variety - here are a few things you could be working on:

- Designing experiments, trials or surveys to produce statistically relevant data
- Advising or running analyses across multiple business lines and activities
- Design math-based solutions to biological problems such as the role of randomness or weather probability
- Interpreting the data and making sure that the right decisions are made based on the results
- Writing reports and articles for publication or internal use
- Support data strategy and maintain data systems
- Work closely with our science teams to blend research with data science to create powerful predictive algorithms
- Ensure the company is always focused on statistically relevant data, and improve experimental or project design to drive actionable learning
- Understand and adapt data science to react and reflect the complexities of data quality

**About You**

Essential:

- Degree or work experience in the field of data science, mathematics or statistics
- Experienced at solving problems using data-led technologies
- A team player, ready to jump across teams to maintain rapid business growth
- Have developed from ground-up,algorithms to solve a complex problem set
- Strong technical knowledge of mathematical software
- High intellectual curiosity and passion for technology evolution
- Highly detailed with a systematic approach with an attitude of extreme ownership
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia
- Comfortable speaking and communicating in English

Desirable:

- PhD in Statistics, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field
- 2+ years’ experience in analytics and data roles
- Experience working on scientific problems in a commercial business-oriented environment
- You’re an inventor and innovator at heart. You’re always finding new ways to solve problems.

Location & Travel

Our team are based in Jakarta, with opportunities for remote and flexi working

You must be living in Indonesia.

**Salary**: Rp7,000,000 - Rp20,000,000 per month
