Government Relation Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitors legislative and regulatory activities (weekly/monthly) and provide report on the policies that direct/indirect can impact the organisation
- Manage appropriate execution strategies in relation to the any permits/licenses/approvals of the business for dealing with the key issue in partnership with GR team in the Head office as well as the Regional GR Team
- Prepare and organize forums and gatherings with government officials to exchange ideas and information on business activities and potential legislation that may affect the organisation.
- Assist in guiding and influencing the team’s priorities for reactive and proactive engagement work, ensuring they are aligned with company strategies.
- Ensure that the organisation's interests are represented and protected in legislative proceedings and in the development of market rules and procedures.
- Coordinate the external government affairs for the company including the company mandatory report and other government submissions and procedures.
- Direct the development, maintenance and reporting on policies and programs to ensure awareness of government legislation and regulatory issues that affect the organisation.
- Provide direction for multiple less complex office services in the defined area including work in the areas of project and service management, vendor management, people management and budget management
- Lead and develop a team, coach, and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
- Write and edit various types of content - Company positioning, talking points on target issues for management. Maintain a key stakeholders contact database to manage potential issue an all-related activity.
- Could maintain relationship with key stakeholders, good interpersonal and communication skill to manage internal stakeholder (Business leader and GR Regional)

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Minimum two years of supervisory/manager experience
- Communication and presentation skill.
- Verbal and written English communication is a **MUST.**:

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking
- Minimum two years of supervisory/manager experience
- Has good relationship with key stakeholders in the government (**Ministry of ATN/BPN/ Mo Trade/ Mo Industry/ Mo Agriculture/ etc)**:

- Participate as part of a team to develop and maintain policies and programs to ensure awareness of government legislation and regulatory issues that affect the organisation.

**Salary**: Rp30,000,000 - Rp40,000,000 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Jakarta: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Permitting: 5 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)
