Bar Back

**Responsibilities**
- Assist baristas in preparing and serving coffee beverages during busy periods.
- Ensure all coffee stations are stocked with necessary supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and cups.
- Keep the bar area clean and organized at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee supplies and kitchen materials.
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, checking for quality and accuracy.
- Clean and maintain coffee equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and blenders.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks as required.
- Report any equipment issues or malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
- Provide support to baristas in ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas behind the bar, including counters, sinks, and storage areas.
- Ensure that all utensils and equipment are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
- Assist with washing and drying dishes, utensils, and glassware as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the entire coffee shop team to ensure efficient service.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by maintaining a professional and cooperative attitude.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role in the coffee or hospitality industry is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and proactive.
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy items.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Basic spoken English, with the ability to understand and communicate with customers and staff.
