Waterways Engineer

Persyaratan
1. To cooperate with and share the responsibilities of activities of the Waterway Engineer 1 (III.3-5/Foreign).

2. Responsible for construction supervision of intake, waterway, and outlet structures.

3. To supervise construction works for waterway and intake structures.

4. To review, comment and approve the arrangements and characteristics of the Package 1 Contractor’s temporary construction facilities, construction equipment and method statements for construction.

5. To review, comment and approve the construction method statements and all other documents related to the construction of the underground powerhouse and tunnel works

6. To verify and approve design, calculation, drawings (fabrication and assembling drawings and detailed reinforcement drawings), lists of materials and other related documents submitted by the Contractor.

7. To review proposals submitted by the Contractor.

8. To control progress of works and initiate corrective measures

9. To issue instructions on materials sampling and in-situ/laboratory tests, such as the foundation and embankment materials, concrete aggregates, admixtures, and tunnel/cavern excavation and support, when required.

10. To keep appropriate records on project activities

11. To communicate and coordinate with Package-4 Contractor for interfacing of waterway and steel structures.

12. To advise on settlement of claims

13. To prepare documents for and participate in regular PRP meetings throughout the Services.

14. To develop a training program for PLN’s staff in the field of construction supervision and perform OJT.

15. To prepare relevant documents.
