- A passion for animation and a dedication to creating AAA quality games
- Ability to rig in 3D Software such as Blender or Maya
- Create animator-friendly rigs for a wide variety of characters, weapons and props.
- Authoring skinning and deformation.
- Set-up character assets in the engine (meshes, animation blueprints, dynamics)
- Build tools for characters artists and animators to facilitate character creation.
- Guide the process of character creation from a technical perspective.
- Portfolio consist of technical demo of rigging in 3D Software and Unreal
- Strong understanding of Blueprint in relation to Animations and Rigging in Unreal Engine
- Strong knowledge of character kinematics, deformations, and topology.
- Understanding of traditional animation principles that enhance believable movement
- Ability to create control rig for Animator
- Ability to create FACS based system for Animator
- Creation of blendshape for expression
- Creation of bendy bones rigging
- Creation of IK/FK Control for Animator
- Knowledge of Mel/Python for production is a plus
- Experience with non-gaming Non-linear Animation (NLA) systems and/or has animated for games prior
