Wise Steps Consulting is a tourism-focused consulting firm that works with Indonesian and international experts to use tourism as a force for positive impact. The team provides services such as market research, strategic marketing planning, destination branding, and sustainable tourism masterplans for destinations. Wise Steps Consulting also supports clients with GSTC certification and training, experience design and product development, auditing, and field-based benchmarking studies. In addition, the firm offers travel pattern analysis, interpretation design, ESG dashboards, and customized ERP solutions to help tourism stakeholders operate more sustainably and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Execution: Drive sales for SMDP training programs & WSC products from prospecting to closing.
- Lead Gen & Research: Identify prospects (hospitality/tourism focus), conduct market research, and manage the database.
- Client Relationship: Build relationships with new clients and maintain post-sales retention.
- Reporting & Strategy: Prepare sales pipeline reports and provide market strategy insights.
- Internal Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to draft proposals and pitch decks.
Qualifications
- Experience: Min. 2 years in Sales/Business Development (existing network in hospitality & tourism is preferred).
- Core Skills: Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, market research, and client database management.
- Personal Qualities: Target-oriented, proactive, independent, and proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Bonus Points: Existing network in hospitality & tourism, familiarity with CRM systems, and a strong interest in sustainability.
- Mobility: Willing to be placed in various destinations (including Jakarta/Bandung) and travel for work as needed.
