About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Remote Network Infrastructure Engineer to join their fully remote team, supporting operations across various locations including Bandung . This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure to ensure robust connectivity, security, and performance. You will collaborate with distributed teams to troubleshoot complex network issues, optimize performance, and implement new network solutions. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced engineer who excels in a remote work environment and is passionate about building and managing secure, scalable networks that power modern business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage the company's core network infrastructure , including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for optimization and capacity planning.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the network through the implementation and maintenance of security protocols and intrusion detection systems.
- Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues, resolving incidents promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and new technology implementations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in network engineering and infrastructure management.
- Strong expertise in TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and network security (firewalls, VPNs).
- Hands-on experience with cloud networking technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a significant plus.
- Excellent understanding of network monitoring tools and performance analysis techniques.
- Proven ability to work effectively and independently in a remote work setting.
