Procurement SPV – Freight Forwarding

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Supervisor to join PT TVS SCS Indonesia in a full-time capacity. Based in South Jakarta, and play a key role in managing procurement activities to support our freight forwarding and logistics operations. This role plays a critical part in our supply chain operations, ensuring we secure high-quality materials and services at competitive prices whilst maintaining strong vendor relationships. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be instrumental in supporting our manufacturing and logistics operations by optimising purchasing processes and inventory management.

What you'll be doing

• Source and negotiate rates with shipping lines, airlines, transporters and vendors management
• Manage procurement contracts and vendor performance
• Maintain rate database and cost benchmarking
• Support pricing and tender submissions
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies
• Evaluate suppliers and conduct periodic reviews
• Monitor market rates and capacity trends
• Achieve cost savings and service improvements

What we're looking for

• Bachelor degree Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• 3-7 years procurement experience in logistics/freight forwarding
• Established relationship with major ocean carriers, NVOCC and Co loaders
• Established relationship with transporters.
• Strong negotiation and cost analysis skills
• Knowledge of freight procurement and vendor management
• Proficient in Excel and reporting tools
• High integrity and attention to detail
