Legal Advisor - Compliance & Risk Management (Remote)
Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Legal Advisor focused on Compliance & Risk Management to join their team remotely. This role is essential for ensuring the company upholds the highest standards of legal and regulatory compliance across all its operations. You will be responsible for identifying potential legal risks, developing robust compliance frameworks, and advising on mitigation strategies, all while working independently and contributing significantly to the company’s ethical and lawful conduct.
About the Role
Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Legal Advisor focused on Compliance & Risk Management to join their team remotely. This role is essential for ensuring the company upholds the highest standards of legal and regulatory compliance across all its operations. You will be responsible for identifying potential legal risks, developing robust compliance frameworks, and advising on mitigation strategies, all while working independently and contributing significantly to the company’s ethical and lawful conduct.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective compliance policies and procedures tailored to the company’s business needs.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and address potential legal vulnerabilities.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the company’s operations remain compliant.
- Advise management on legal and compliance matters, providing clear and actionable recommendations.
- Investigate compliance breaches and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Requirements
- Law degree from a recognized institution and admission to the Indonesian Bar.
- 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or corporate law, preferably with an in-house focus.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian corporate and regulatory laws.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex legal requirements into practical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
