Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and resilient microservices using languages such as Java, Python, or Go, and associated frameworks.
• Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs to support frontend applications, mobile clients, and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define API requirements and ensure seamless integration.
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, security, and performance optimization across the backend stack.
• Optimize database performance and design efficient data models for relational and NoSQL databases.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to established coding standards and architectural patterns.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to technical guidelines.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues in production and development environments.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technology selection to ensure the long-term scalability and maintainability of backend systems.
• Stay abreast of emerging backend technologies and industry trends, advocating for innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining microservices architectures.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, Node.js) and associated frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Django, Flask).
• Extensive experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and data modeling.
• Experience with message queuing systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker).
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
