Mining Environment Jr. Foreman

Monitor and document environmental parameters including air quality, water quality, soil conditions and waste management at mining sites

Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of environmental management plans and standard operating procedures

Conduct environmental inspections and audits to ensure compliance with Indonesian environmental regulations and company policies

Collect environmental samples and data for analysis, maintaining accurate records and reports

Support the preparation of environmental impact assessments and regulatory documentation

Assist in identifying and implementing corrective actions for any environmental non-conformances or incidents

Participate in environmental training programmes and communicate findings to site teams

Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address environmental concerns and minimise operational impact

Support community engagement initiatives related to environmental management and sustainability

Maintain and update environmental databases and management systems

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Management or a related discipline

Knowledge of Indonesian environmental regulations, particularly those applicable to mining operations

Understanding of environmental monitoring techniques and best practices in mining environments

Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Indonesian and English

Proficiency in data collection, analysis and basic environmental reporting

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and environmental management software

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions from senior environmental staff

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate record-keeping and documentation

Physical capability to conduct fieldwork in mining environments, including site visits and outdoor inspections

Willingness to learn and develop professional expertise in environmental management within the mining sector

Previous internship or entry-level experience in environmental management or mining operations is advantageous

Professional certification in Environmental Management Systems (such as ISO 14001) is desirable
