Garment Head of Production

PT Gistex Garmen Indonesia is looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Garment Head of Production to lead and optimize our garment manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, extensive technical knowledge of garment production, and a proven ability to achieve production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, cost control, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, manage, and control daily garment production operations to achieve production targets.

Lead production teams and ensure effective coordination across sewing lines and supporting departments.

Monitor and improve key production performance indicators, including productivity, production efficiency, output, quality, and on-time delivery.

Analyze production bottlenecks, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.

Optimize production capacity, manpower allocation, machine utilization, and line balancing.

Ensure production processes comply with standard operating procedures, buyer requirements, and quality standards.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and operational excellence practices.

Collaborate with PPIC, Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.

Evaluate team performance and develop the capabilities of production supervisors and line leaders.

Prepare production performance reports and present improvement plans to management.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the garment manufacturing industry, including experience in a production management or senior supervisory role.

Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes, particularly sewing operations, production planning, and line balancing.

Proven ability to manage production performance and achieve operational targets.

Solid knowledge of production KPIs, including efficiency, output, Right First Time (RFT), Defects per Hundred Units (DHU), Work in Progress (WIP), and on-time delivery.

Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement programs.

Strong analytical, leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage large production teams and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in production reporting, performance analysis, and Microsoft Excel.
