Roll Group is looking for a motivated Project Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role is key to ensuring high-quality, efficient, and safe execution of engineering work that supports complex heavy cargo transport and marine operations worldwide.

Roll Group owns a versatile heavy-transport seagoing fleet consisting of dock-type vessels, which all have the option of three loading modes – Ro-Ro, Flo-Flo and Lo-Lo – as well as deck carriers. On the land side, Roll Group operates a large number of modern heavy-lift cranes with capacities of up to 4,000 tons, Self-Propelled Modular Trailers (SPMTs) and conventional trailers. The specific characteristics of Roll Group’s asset base ensure the ability to serve a wide range of markets, such as Mining, Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Attend project kick-off meetings and support project execution.
- Prepare transport manuals, calculations, drawings, and risk analyses.
- Interface with clients and Marine Warranty Surveyors (MWS).
- Track project status, scope variations, and time registration.
- Contribute to project evaluations and lessons-learned reviews.
- Develop and improve in-house tools and spreadsheets.
- Provide supporting documents (calculations, drawings, class documentation) for involved departments.
- Support execution of projects on-site when required.
Qualifications
- Higher vocational education in Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Technology, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar engineering role.
- Strong technical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a project team.

Our selection process
