Biology Professor | $30/hr Remote

Position: Pod Lead - Life Science (Terminal Bench Science)

Type: Contract

Compensation: $15-$30/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 20-40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technical trainers developing life science tasks
• Review scientific workflows to ensure high accuracy
• Validate computational outputs for reliability and reproducibility
• Mentor trainers to maintain high-quality delivery standards
• Provide clear and actionable feedback on tasks
• Oversee project timelines and deliverables to meet deadlines
• Collaborate with teams to optimize training processes

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent research experience in life sciences
• Strong programming skills, especially in Python
• Previous experience as a POD Lead on scientific projects
• Ability to validate scientific reasoning and workflows
• Expertise in areas such as bioinformatics or computational genomics
• Strong analytical skills for effective problem-solving
• Familiarity with scientific tools is a plus
