Position Purpose: The Jakarta PGS Site Leader provides leadership, strategic direction, and tactical oversight to the facility, in alignment with the PGS global Mission and Strategy. This includes responsibility for all Production operations and the related supporting functions (Engineering, Utilities & Maintenance, Quality Operations, EHS, Supply Chain & Warehousing, Finance, Procurement, Digital, PX and Operational Excellence).

Primary Accountability: Developing and executing operating plans that lead to the achievement of the site's mission; making effective financial and operational decisions to positively impact the short and long-term performance of the site in support of commercial goals; developing and maintaining a cost-effective, competitive organization through effective organizational design, workforce planning, leadership and talent development; external stakeholder management, objective setting and overall performance management.

As the Leader of the Site Leadership Team (SLT), the role will champion the development and execution of the Site Strategy and will be instrumental in maintaining strategic alignment to the site and customer expectations.

Primary Duties:

  1. Member of the Site Leadership Team (SLT) that is responsible for developing and executing a Site Strategy that is aligned with the PGS Value Proposition of Quality/Compliance/Safety, Supply Reliability and Cost/Cash/Value.
  2. Act as a GMP Compliance role model for all the PGS Jakarta team, with a strong focus on Strategic Operations, ensuring that policies and procedures are developed and maintained as they relate to GMP and Operations processes.
  3. Assume leadership responsibilities on network initiatives that drive results across OpU, Pharma Ops, and PGS.
  4. Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including but not limited to other areas within the Pfizer supply network, external suppliers, local community and political entities, colleagues, and legal organizations.
  5. Responsible to create, establish and maintain an environment that encourages teamwork, empowerment and commitment at the site.
  6. Continually evaluate best in class technology, processes, and talent to ensure optimal supply to support continued growth in the commercial businesses.
  7. Make effective financial and operational decisions to positively impact both short and long-term site goals, including strategic acquisitions and/or partnerships as required.
  8. Participate in Indonesia Country Leadership Team Forum and represent the site and Company in the local community as needed.
  9. Drive team engagement, effective communication, and the development of SLT & ELT.
