Director of Remote Operations & Compliance
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Director of Remote Operations & Compliance to lead their globally distributed teams. This is a pivotal, fully remote role responsible for ensuring that all operational activities adhere to strict compliance standards while maintaining peak efficiency. You will develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems that support both operational excellence and regulatory adherence across various jurisdictions. This position requires a strong understanding of both operational management and the intricacies of regulatory compliance in a remote work context.
About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Director of Remote Operations & Compliance to lead their globally distributed teams. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies that prioritize regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
- Establish and maintain robust compliance frameworks and auditing processes for all remote operations.
- Lead and mentor a diverse, globally distributed team of operations and compliance professionals.
- Oversee the implementation of operational policies and procedures ensuring adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and other departments to ensure integrated compliance efforts.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and compliance effectiveness.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) or Master's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in operations management, with a significant focus on regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Proven experience leading large, remote teams and managing complex compliance programs.
- In-depth knowledge of international business laws and operational best practices.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking , and leadership skills.
- Experience developing and implementing policies in a remote-first environment.
