Job Title: QA Engineer (Manual)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive QA Engineer (Manual) to join our dynamic team in Jakarta. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Functional Testing and a passion for ensuring the highest quality of software products. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases, as well as identifying and documenting defects to ensure that our applications meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand requirements and provide feedback on functionality.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that existing functionalities remain unaffected by new changes.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability and functional requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Assist in the development of automated testing strategies where applicable.
• Provide clear and concise reports on testing progress and results to stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong knowledge and hands on experience in Functional Testing.
• Proficiency in writing clear and comprehensive test cases and test plans.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Ability to analyze requirements and design test cases accordingly.
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience in performance testing and usability testing.
• Knowledge of SQL and ability to perform database testing.
• Experience with test automation tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2 5 years of experience in manual testing, with a focus on functional testing.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
