Group Chief Human Resources Officer

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia; Singapore; Australia (from Mining industry only)

Job Type: Full-time

Positions Supervised: Human Resources Manager (and General Services, as relevant)

Business/Division: Human Resources

Primary Objective

This role is responsible for:

  1. The Group HR Strategy
  2. Employee Engagement & Culture
  3. Learning and Development
Company Values
  1. Play a crucial role in aligning the human resources strategy with the Company's values.
  2. Adhere to all Group policies and procedures.
  3. Conform to all legal and statutory procedures.
  4. Uphold and embody the Group values across business.
  5. Show commitment, active engagement, and strong leadership in human resources stream.
Overall ObjectivesGroup Strategy and Overall Approach on Human Resources

Create Group HR strategy, then develop and implement the HR strategies aligned with company's goals and objectives. The HR Strategy should include people and culture strategy that promotes a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture.

Change Management – Culture Alignment

Ensure that any changes in management or culture align with the company's culture and values. This involves reinforcing the importance of the values throughout the change management process to maintain employee morale and commitment.

Employee and Stakeholders Engagement & Culture

Engaging key stakeholders, including executives, managers, and employees is essential. Create a positive organizational culture and ensure employee engagement through various programs.

Senior Talent & Succession Management

Collaborate with senior HR personnel across the Group companies to identify and assess high-potential talent and succession planning needs across the Group for Executive level positions.

Learning & Development

Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy of the Group talents that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.

Compensation and Benefit

Benchmarking of the compensation & benefit across the group and against industry standards.

Performance Management

Develop a performance management strategy that aligns with the Group Company's goals and values.

POSITION REQUIREMENTSEducation & Qualifications
  1. Tertiary qualifications in a related field such as organisational psychology, human resources, or organisational development.
  2. HR leadership experience with international/regional exposure.
Experience, Skills and Knowledge
  1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively.
  3. Extensive experience in talent management, learning, and development strategies.
  4. Familiarity with the mining industry is a plus.
  5. Proven experience in HR strategies to drive business performance.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Flexibility to adapt and navigate a rapidly changing environment.
  8. Commitment to ethical practices and integrity.
