Earthen Trading is a premier international agro-commodity brokerage firm headquartered in Dubai, UAE, specializing in the sourcing and supply of high-quality spices, pulses, grains, oilseeds, and herbs. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Import Export Specialist to handle operational activities in Surabaya, Indonesia.
Role Description
The Import Export Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Surabaya, responsible for coordinating and executing international trade operations for agro-commodities.
- Manage the end-to-end import/export process, from the agreement between buyer and seller until full payment is received.
- Ensure smooth execution of trade contracts, documentation, logistics, and shipments.
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure efficient communication and transaction execution.
- Handle claims, discrepancies, payment follow-ups, and transaction settlements.
- Monitor market developments and government regulations that may impact import/export activities and keep buyers and sellers updated.
- Support negotiations and post-contract activities to ensure successful and mutually beneficial transactions.
- Act as a liaison between the Sourcing and Sales teams to ensure smooth coordination and an excellent customer experience.
