Our client is a leading consumer product distribution and manufacturing company.

Job Description

The Head of IT will be responsible for:

  • Leading and mentoring the IT team, ensuring they are motivated, productive, and equipped with the necessary skills.
  • Developing and implementing IT strategies that support the company's goals and objectives.
  • Ensuring the IT infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable to meet current and future business needs.
  • Managing software development, implementation, and integration projects to support business operations, including upgrades of software and implementation of ERP modules.
  • Developing and managing the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Overseeing relationships with external IT vendors and service providers to ensure service delivery and compliance with contracts.
  • Identifying and implementing emerging technologies that can enhance business performance.
  • Working with senior management to identify IT opportunities that align with business strategy and drive innovation.
  • Leading digital transformation initiatives to modernize and improve IT services across the organization.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Head of IT, IT Director, or similar senior-level IT role.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
  • Experience in budget management, strategic planning, and vendor management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
