BSJ's curriculum is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and the International Baccalaureate (IB). Our Kindergarten curriculum follows the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and Years 1-6 are based on the English National Curriculum (ENC) for Maths and English as well as an inquiry-based exploratory framework which covers our foundation subjects. In Years 7-11, we offer the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP), while Years 12 and 13 have access to the International Baccalaureate Diploma and Career-Related Programmes (IB DP/CP). We integrate wellbeing into our curriculum which promotes academic and personal growth while equipping both students and educators for individual development within a positive learning environment.

We also offer more than 260 extracurricular activities, with students participating in local and regional events.

At British School Jakarta, our diverse staff includes educators with extensive international school experience and those from the UK educational system. With over 400 staff members representing approximately 20 nationalities who all share a common commitment to international education.

Job Description:

Demonstrate the ability to teach IB Diploma Business at both Standard and Higher Levels.Exhibit knowledge, enthusiasm and/or experience to teach inquiry and concept-based learning across Business at IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) 4 & 5 (Year 10 & 11), and possibly into MYP 1-3Ability to teach BTEC Business and Economics is desirable but not essentialServe as a Wellbeing Tutor The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: A track record of exceptional teaching experienceCapable of teaching across Secondary age groupOutstanding subject knowledgeEnthusiasm and motivation for exemplary teaching and learningHaving work experience of at least 5 years in accordance with the qualifications of the position to be applied We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people, and expect all staff to share this commitment.
