About The Role

This role is responsible for customer supply chain organization responsible for the country cluster market and strategic priority for a new business flow set up, de-layering distribution by removing master distributor and taking control of imports of FG, storage and reselling of products ourselves.

 

Key Responsibilities

●    SPOC for distribution center operations coordination
●    Replenishment planning and generating purchase orders and communication to supply site/s
●    Discussing, negotiating and finalizing space and labour availability with the logistics service provider (LSP)
●    Coordinating with customer service for customer order visibility and shipment priority alignment
●    Validating inventory count accuracy and shipment data on a daily basis from the LSP
●    Coordinating and managing issue resolution between LSP and BC 
●    Coordinating an new requirements on compliance, quality, regulatory with the LSP and respective BC functions
●    Ensuring BC safety, quality guidelines are communicated to the LSP
●    Coordinating and ensuring that import clearance and inbound shipments happen on time
●    Coordinating and ensuring local and export shipments are made on time
●    Driving adherence to service SLA and continuous improvement with the LSP 
●    Coordinate with the LSP to monitor the daily inventory/ stock level and shipping status releases
●    Constantly monitoring and analyzing the inventory level to meet changing customer demand
 

About You

●    Bachelor/Post graduate degree in SC/Logistics, business administration, management or relevant fields
●    Proven experience in senior logistics role, including budgeting & performance management
●    Demonstrated understanding of Logistics processes & market, trends and its financial levers
●    Ability to lead and manage change in a complex environment
●    Proficient in English and (preferably) one local language.
●    Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in a matrix organization, ideally within high volume Manufacturing, Distribution or B2B organization
●    Deep knowledge of the SC/Logistics, Transport & Warehousing processes
●    Experience in logistics operations function  
●    Problem solving skills through root cause analysis and data driven continuous improvement
●    Knowledge of customs & international export/import policies
●    Experience of financial management and cost control, demonstrated experience in cost optimization 
●    Recommending effective solutions to enhance Logistics performance.
●    A sound decision maker with an analytical, project management skills and effective communicator
●    Adopting a right first time mentality
