Tax Admin Staff

Job Summary

Sandvik is seeking applications from motivated individuals for the Tax Admin Staff position based in Jakarta.

The role is responsible to optimize Sandvik's tax position and to ensure that Sandvik is compliant with all relevant local and international tax laws and regulations. Participates in the development and implementation of Group Tax policies and procedures. Optimizes Sandvik’s tax position by amongst else recommending alternative solutions to complex business transactions. Manages ongoing relationships with external advisors. Supports and trains the business units in various tax related matters.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare, Checking & Filling Document VAT in on monthly basis by soft copy.

  • Prepare Monthly GL Account tax reconciliation.

  • Prepare Listing monthly PPh22 and 23 tax credit format SPT Badan.

  • Create PPh Pasal 22 Prepaid Recap Import data from PIB Document & Filling.

  • Create PPh Pasal 23 Prepaid Recap and other prepaid tax (if any) from customer & Filling.

  • Filing tax documents correctly and neatly ensuring the completeness.

  • Compile and provide proof of tax deduction to third parties/Supplier (Bukti Potong PPh Pasal 23).

  • Inform vendor and partner of important paperwork and documentation needed to complete tax form accurately.

  • Support Tax Audit and Liaise with external Auditor.

  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

PLANNING AND REPORTING

  • Assist in preparing tax payments and ensure timely tax reporting.

  • Tax Reporting for Withholding Tax 23, 4(2).

  • Reporting to Tax Manager.

HEALTH & SAFETY

  • Ensure that all work procedures and activities are carried out according to safety standards.

EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field.

  • More than 3 years in relevant experience.

  • Having Brevet A-B is preferable.

  • Proficient skill in English with written and verbal communication skills.

  • Good understanding of tax software and tax regulation and /or familiar with accounting software.

  • Having experience in tax audit if preferable.

  • Strong attention to detail with analytical and time management skills.

  • Can-Do attitude.
