**Operational Manager - Boutique Hotel & Restaurant (Gili Meno)**

**About the Role**

We’re looking for a hands-on, people-first Operational Manager to join our boutique hotel-restaurant on the idyllic island of Gili Meno. This is a unique opportunity to live and work in paradise while leading a motivated international team and shaping the future of a growing hospitality concept.

You’ll manage daily operations across departments — from front desk and F&B to housekeeping and volunteers — and work directly with ownership on strategy, performance, and innovation.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Lead, support, and develop a team of 10-15 staff and volunteers
- Oversee daily hostel and restaurant operations
- Create and implement SOPs for consistent quality and efficiency
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and evaluations
- Prepare daily reports and participate in weekly strategy meetings
- Optimize guest experience and drive customer satisfaction
- Boost sales and manage promotional tools with the team
- Coordinate events, activities, and special experiences
- Supervise cleanliness and maintenance standards
- Contribute to social media strategy and guest communication
- Step in quickly for any unexpected challenges — with calm and creativity

**Your Profile**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar hospitality or restaurant management role
- Positive leadership style — supportive, proactive, and hands-on
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexible and adaptable to island life and an evolving structure
- Fluent in English
