About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Production Planning & Inventory Control Manager to join our dynamic team at SKK Jewels' in East Jakarta, Jakarta. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Production Planning & Inventory Control Manager in overseeing the end-to-end manufacturing process, including production planning, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.

What you'll be doing

  • Responsible for overseeing production schedules, managing inventory levels, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials to meet production targets and customer demand
  • Analyzing material needs, coordinating with other departments like supply chain and sales, controlling costs, and solving production issues to maintain efficiency and meet deadlines
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to meet production and sales needs while minimizing costs
  • Identify and resolve production issues, including delays and quality problems, to keep operations running smoothly
  • Anticipate potential risks in the production process and develop solutions to prevent them

What we're looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience in a production planning, inventory control, or supply chain management role within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Experience with production planning and inventory management software, such as ERP systems can be beneficial
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
