Job Description

We are looking for a Data Analytics Specialist who can support our telecommunications operations through strong analytical work, effective data processing, and clear data storytelling. You will analyze traffic patterns, investigate suspicious activities, and transform complex data into actionable insights and visual dashboards for stakeholders.

This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable handling data end-to-end (from ETL-style preparation to insight presentation), and able to communicate confidently with both internal teams and foreign partners.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze telco traffic, CDR data, MSISDN behavior, and other datasets to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities.
  • Process, clean, and prepare data (including light ETL work) to support investigations and reporting.
  • Build clear and compelling dashboards using Power BI or Tableau to communicate findings effectively.
  • Identify issues, propose recommendations, and support teams in implementing solutions.
  • Manage and optimize classification rules, whitelists, and analytical logic for detection and mitigation.
  • Collaborate with operations, product, engineering, and business teams to improve data accuracy and support strategic initiatives.
  • Stay updated on analytical methods, visualization best practices, and telco industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in data analytics or similar roles; telco experience is a strong advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau).
  • Good skills in Excel and experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
  • Experience with ETL or data processing workflows is a plus.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, with Python highly preferred for data processing and analysis.
  • Excellent professional English, both written and spoken, as the role involves communication with foreign teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and confidence in presenting analytical findings.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to work full onsite, Monday–Friday (9:00–17:00).
  • Residing in Jakarta (South Jakarta preferred).
  • Stable employment history (minimum 2 years in previous roles).
