We are looking for a
Country HR Manager
to be based in Palembang, Indonesia. The incumbent will oversee the full spectrum of human resources functions for our companies in Indonesia. He/she will be responsible for providing HR leadership, ensuring compliance with Indonesian employment regulations, and driving HR initiatives aligned with the Group's overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other functional/department heads to understand all necessary HR needs and ensure they fully understand the goals, objectives, and achievements of the HR department.
  • Summarize all Headcount, Manpower, and Mapping reports for all factories in Indonesia and ensure their compliance.
  • Ensure activities comply with regulations and standards for HR services, such as training and development, employee safety and health, legal requirements, environmental safety policies, and ensure the company complies with laws and workers' rights.
  • Implement and update compensation and utilization programs annually, reviewing and updating job descriptions with managers as needed.
  • Recommend, develop, and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain a handbook of policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for administering employee wage payments, tax deductions, and pension benefits, including managing claims decisions, reporting changes, approving invoices, monitoring and reviewing services to ensure customer satisfaction, and contributing to work efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • Implementing a selection process during employee recruitment and ensuring the effective orientation of new employees.
  • Conducting employee relations counseling and ensuring the smooth orientation and termination of employment.
  • Ensuring that all HR relationships and communications (internal and external), such as advertising, are effective and adhere to applicable brand standards.
  • Organizing and developing reports such as employee headcount and employment reports.
  • Keeping abreast of developments in HR Management and communicating them appropriately to directors, managers, and staff within the organization to improve service.
  • Develop a harmonious work atmosphere and encourage/support a positive work environment.
  • Implement and manage employee health and safety programs (through health checks and healthy lifestyles) and monitor and report on their success.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to create continuous improvement in the efficiency of the department and the services provided.
  • Perform other urgent tasks and related duties as needed and assigned (e.g., responsible for office management systems/office administration/general affairs/other)

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, GPHR) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role in Indonesia.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws, HR best practices, and market trends.
  • Proven track record in managing HR functions within multinational or group company structures.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Language proficiency in Mandarin and English is required (both spoken and written for the correspondence with China headquarter)
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple priorities.
