About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Mandarin Speaker to join our client team , a leading company in the Import/export and sale of synthetic resins and chemicals industry. As a full-time position based in Jakarta, this role will involve supporting the marketing efforts of the organization and engaging with Chinese-speaking clients and stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

  1. Managing and developing relationships with Chinese-speaking clients and partners
  2. Identifying new business opportunities and supporting sales growth
  3. Handling daily communication, negotiation, and follow-ups with Chinese-speaking customers
  4. Preparing and translating sales documents, quotations, and product information into Mandarin when needed
  5. Conducting market research to understand customer needs, competitor activity, and market trends
  6. Coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth sales transactions
  7. Monitoring sales performance and preparing regular sales reports
  8. Supporting sales presentations, meetings, and business visits
  9. Ensuring high customer satisfaction and timely response to inquiries

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree graduates
  2. Fluency in both Mandarin and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills (Mandatory)
  3. Mandarin language proficiency at conversational/business level, supported by HSK 4–5 certification (Mandatory)
  4. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within trading, import/export, or B2B environment
  5. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  6. Proven ability to manage customer relationships and achieve sales targets
  7. Good understanding of sales processes, market research, and customer handling
  8. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  9. A proactive, customer-focused, and result-driven mindset
  10. Ability to drive a car and possess a valid driving license (Mandatory)
