We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as an Application Engineer – Protection & Automation. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting regional projects, providing technical expertise, and delivering reliable engineering solutions for Siemens Protection and Automation systems.

You'll create impact by:

  • Providing technical support and engineering expertise to regional countries for protection and automation projects.
  • Translating customer and project requirements into effective system solutions.
  • Defining hardware and software configurations to meet project and application needs.
  • Supporting system design, configuration, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Collaborating closely with sales, project, and service teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Becoming a technical reference in the region for Siemens protection and automation portfolio.

Your defining qualities:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably in protection and automation applications.
  • Solid understanding of protection relays, substation automation, communication protocols (e.g., IEC 61850), and power system fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with system configuration, testing, or commissioning is highly valued.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured engineering mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a regional/multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and grow with evolving technologies and solutions.
