We are seeking a skilled Fire Services and Hydraulics Engineer to join our dynamic MEP team in Indonesia. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to high-impact projects, ensuring the successful design and implementation of hydraulic and fire services systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

The Opportunity

• Undertake detailed design work in Hydraulic/Fire services engineering.
• Provide and review design calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and building codes.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to meet project deliverables.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers to foster growth and team development.

Is this role right for you?

• Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or similar area.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire protection and plumbing systems, focusing on consultancy and construction projects. Any exposures in Data Center projects would be an advantage.
• Registered Certified Expert or Professional Engineer, SKA Muda-Madya certification (if available) or other relevant mechanical engineering certifications.
• Experience in the operation of software design tools including Revit.
• Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines – and Arup's related procedures including OH&S. Familiarity with Indonesia authority submission and approval procedures will be an added advantage.
