Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a Manager Public Affairs, Territory Strategy & Program to streamline engagement strategies, optimize partnerships, and spearhead impactful national and provincial initiatives. You will drive thought leadership, and supporting transformative projects in provincial policy areas such as urban mobility, digitalization of local businesses, and leveraging AI and digital technology to support local government transformation.

You will report to Director of Government Affairs and Strategic Collaborations based onsite in Jakarta.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Strategize overarching national initiatives to build foundational relationships across provinces, including MoUs, AI & digital skill training programs, and innovative collaborative frameworks.
• Foster thought leadership in provincial policy areas, including urban mobility, local business digitalization, and the application of AI and digital technology in government transformation.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including relevant Ministries, Provincial Governments, NGOs and academic networks.
• Streamline engagement strategies across provinces, ensuring alignment with national and provincial objectives.
• Drive partnership optimization and budget efficiency for Public Affairs initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate the implementation of Public Affairs strategies to ensure alignment with organizational OKRs (growth, profitability, and policy advocacy).
• Support hyperlocal implementation of national flagship programs and initiatives, ensuring relevance to provincial contexts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on strategy, troubleshoot issues, and enhance the corporate narrative.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Minimum a bachelor degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience in public affairs, policy advocacy, or government relations with .
• Strong track record of designing and implementing strategic projects in provincial-level that align with national objectives.
• A robust network with government entities, NGOs, academic institutions, and other relevant stakeholders across Indonesia.
• Strong skills in stakeholder mapping, issue resolution, and deriving strategic approach.
• Familiarity with tech, data, AI or MSME digitalization initiatives.
• Experience to work first hand within the government and or public policy consulting would be a strong plus.
