About the Role

The
Managing Director
will oversee the full operations of the company's food manufacturing business in
Indonesia
. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for shaping and executing business strategies to achieve sustainable growth, operational excellence, and profitability. The successful candidate will be a visionary and commercially focused leader, capable of managing complex operations and leading a diverse, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities


• Develop and execute strategic and commercial plans to meet business growth and profitability goals.


• Drive sales performance, market expansion, and customer engagement across domestic and export markets.


• Oversee all business functions, including manufacturing, supply chain, finance, HR, and quality.


• Ensure adherence to corporate standards in safety, quality, compliance, and sustainability.


• Lead initiatives in product innovation, marketing, and go-to-market execution.


• Manage full P&L accountability and optimize resources to maximize efficiency and profitability.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and regulatory authorities.


• Lead, mentor, and develop the senior management team to foster a high-performance, accountable culture.


• Represent the company externally, promoting its reputation and business interests in Indonesia.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.


• Minimum 15 years of experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or related industries, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership or country management role.


• Proven record of driving sales, commercial strategy, and market expansion.


• Strong P&L management, strategic planning, and operational leadership experience.


• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.


• Experience in a multinational or matrix organization preferred.


• Fluency in English required; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
