We are seeking an experienced Tax Specialist to join our internal team in a headhunter firm, primarily focusing on Tax while supporting Finance and Accounting functions when needed. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, handling audits, and advising on strategic tax planning. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives as a single contributor, is detail-oriented, and has a strong command of Indonesias tax landscape. Experience in finance or accounting is a plus, but not mandatory.

Job Description : 

  • Manage end-to-end tax compliance (monthly and annual filings: PPh, PPN, etc.).

  • Monitor and ensure adherence to Indonesian tax laws and regulations.

  • Handle tax audit processes and handle correspondence with tax authorities.

  • Develop and implement effective tax planning and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Prepare accurate and timely tax reports for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Analyze tax impacts on business transactions and provide recommendations.

  • Maintain and update tax documentation and SOPs.

  • Liaise with external tax consultants and auditors when necessary.

  • Stay up to date with tax law changes and assess their impact on the business.

  • Provide internal guidance on tax implications for contracts and operations.

  • Support Finance and Accounting functions when required (optional/plus).

  • Able to work independently and effectively as a single contributor if needed.

Requirements Tax Manager

  • Bachelors degree in Taxation, Accounting, or Finance.

  • Minimum 5 - 8 years of hands-on experience in tax-focused roles.

  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian taxation (PPh, PPN, transfer pricing, etc.).

  • Experienced in handling tax audits, objections, and appeals.

  • Familiar with e-filing systems and Indonesian tax reporting platforms.

  • Brevet A & B certification is highly preferred.

  • Experience in corporate tax planning and advisory.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • Experience or exposure to Finance & Accounting is a plus.

  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
