We're Hiring: Head of Legal & Procurement Division

Full-Time | WFO | Central Java (with frequent mobility to Jakarta)

Subsidiary of BUMN / Danantara

We're partnering with a subsidiary of BUMN / Danantara for their prominent town development project to hire their new Head of Legal & Procurement Division. This leadership role reports directly to the Board of Directors and oversees the full Legal & Procurement function, managing a team of 3 Department Heads (Legal Business, Legal Corporate, and Procurement) and 9 Officers. This is a critical replacement hire following the passing of the previous leader, and the company is seeking someone who can bring strategic direction, people leadership, and strong expertise in legal (particularly land, property, and town development) while driving procurement excellence.

What You'll Do
Lead the Legal & Procurement Division and act as direct partner to the BODProvide legal advisory, especially in land, industrial estate, and township-related property mattersOversee corporate and business legal functions, ensuring compliance and risk managementManage procurement operations with transparency and efficiencyLead, mentor, and develop a 12-person team across legal and procurementBuild strong relationships with government, regulators, and external stakeholders

 

What We're Looking For

10+ years of experience in legal and procurement, ideally with a strong background in land, industrial estate, and township property developmentProven leadership and people management experience, leading large teams/divisionsStrong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsExperience handling both corporate and business legal matters
