We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Manager Wholesale Risk Portfolio Management.

Responsibilities:

This role reports to and provides direct support to the HBID VP Wholesale Credit Risk in reporting and monitoring activities which related to credit risk in Wholesale Risk.

The job holders have responsibility as PIC to carried out activities related to Wholesale Risk, where the position holder has the responsibility to handle monitoring and supervision of matters related to credit risk such as supervision and monitoring on Risk Appetite and Risk Tolerance, supervision of portfolio credit quality. They are also responsible ensuring the internal credit risk reporting running smoothly and ensure data availability and provide provision of analytics related to credit risk information and recommend activities or control amendments to address these specifically for non-Regulatory Risk purposes. Activities may support regulatory and non-regulatory purposes and the development of policy.

The role is also expected to maintain effectivity and efficiency in reporting, analytics and monitoring of credit risk at Wholesale Risk.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • An in-depth understanding of Wholesale Risk activities and can collaborate with various business partners in completing her/his job and responsibilities.
  • Have competence in analyzing credit risk data and actively reviewing and providing input related to reporting activities and monitoring of credit risk in Wholesale Risk.
  • Professional competency to mobilize risk-based solutions, able to provide input regarding credit risk data.
  • Understanding the relationship between functional and interdependence, as well as the implications of risks that can occur at the strategic and business levels
  • The ability to form effective working relationships and provide the influence needed at the level of Wholesale Risk leaders and colleagues and external stakeholders such as regulators
  • Effective communication and professional abilities, including the ability to articulate strategies and direction related to credit risk management activities.
