Role Overview

The
Quality Assurance Engineer
will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of

software products across
web, mobile, and API platforms
. The role involves both
manual and

automation testing
, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality

software in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to design detailed and comprehensive test scenarios.
• Create, maintain, and execute
  manual test cases
  for functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear and complete information.
• Design, implement, and maintain
  automation scripts
  for:

o
Web:
Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks

o
Mobile:
Appium or equivalent tools

o
API:
Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent frameworks

• Contribute to the
  integration of automated tests
  into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Manage test data, validate test environments, and perform
  end-to-end testing
  across multiple components.
• Maintain and update test artifacts using
  TestRail, JIRA, or Confluence
  .
• Collaborate with product, development, and release teams to ensure full test coverage and sign-offs.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and share testing updates regularly.
• Continuously improve QA practices, automation efficiency, and test coverage across projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong
  manual testing
  expertise across
  web, iOS, and Android
  platforms.
• Hands-on experience with
  test automation frameworks
  and scripting.
• Good understanding of
  SDLC, QA lifecycle, and Agile methodology
  .
• Working knowledge of
  Git
  , test management, and defect tracking tools.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Technical Requirements

• Manual Testing:
  Skilled in creating and executing detailed test cases, identifying edge cases, and performing exploratory and regression testing.
• Web Testing:
  Experience testing responsive web applications across browsers and devices.
• Mobile Testing:
  Proficient in testing both iOS and Android apps, including device- specific validations and usability checks.
• API Testing:
  Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, with experience using
  Postman
  or
• Rest Assured
  for functional and contract testing.

Automation Expertise:

• Web:
  Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent frameworks.
• Mobile:
  Appium or similar tools.
• API:
  Scripted validations using Postman Collections, JavaScript, or Java-based frameworks.
• Scripting Languages:
  Proficiency in
  Java
