We are looking for a creative and experienced Multimedia Designer/Motion Graphics Artist with a strong understanding of motion graphics and animation techniques to create high-quality digital storytelling for various channels and platforms. Ideate ways to add more engaging educational or instructional graphic techniques to video footage or imagery to increase viewer retention and engagement. You will work within different brand rules and guidelines and understand how to eloquently represent the brand's aesthetic.

What your current role should be like?

• Create and illustrate templates, storyboards, and other visual assets for animation projects.
• Develop visually impactful and effective social media and display ads, utilizing motion graphics, typography, photography, video, and color to communicate key messages with minimal guidance.
• Design and animate vector illustrations, charts, typography, and other graphic elements to enhance visual storytelling.
• Enhance live-action footage with dynamic and engaging animations that support and elevate the narrative.
• Perform light video editing, including audio and music integration, as needed.
• Proficiently use tools such as After Effects, Premiere, and Audition (Adobe Creative Suite) to execute high-quality motion design.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, often across different time zones, to meet project goals.

What will you do?

• Create motion designs for multiple marketing advertising channels: video/YouTube, organic and paid social, display advertising, home tours, client interviews, instructional/explainer videos, etc.
• Design/illustrate templates, storyboards, and other assets for animation.
• Create compelling and successful social and display advertising by leveraging motion graphics, typography, photography, video, and color with minimal direction.
• Design and animate vector illustrations, graphs, typography, and other graphic elements.
• Enhance live-action videos with tasteful and engaging animations that help drive the narrative.
• Lightly video edit and manipulate/add audio and music when necessary.
• Use design tools such as After Effects, Premiere, Audition (Adobe Creative Suite).
• Work closely and collaborate across diverse teams with different time zones.
• Help workshop new motion graphics solutions for the marketing team and company needs.

What do you have?

• 5+ years' experience as a motion graphics/animation artist.
• Attention to high-quality and realistically rendered graphics and scenarios, with a thorough understanding of pacing and animation principles.
• Ability to collaboratively implement and develop consistent branding practices across projects and take direction and implement rounds of feedback from Art/Creative Directors and Marketing Managers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize.
• Ability to work both independently (self-starter) during moments of ambiguity and within a team with the ability to collaborate and take direction.
• Very high attention to detail and organization.
• Willingness to learn new techniques/tools through research, online tools, software, and problem-solving to achieve the desired goal. 
• Preferred degree/training in motion graphics design, audio/film production, or graphic design, but will consider other degrees or relevant experience.
• Should be conscientious of the consistency and quality of deliverables. Adept at prioritization and project management with attentiveness to detail and consistent follow-through.
