Key Responsibilities- Conduct classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training for GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
- Train staff on airline reservation processes, ticket issuance, fare rules, rebooking, refunds, and itinerary changes.
- Deliver refresher courses to improve accuracy, speed, and productivity.
- Support operational teams with real-time coaching and handling complex GDS cases.
- Develop training modules, SOPs, manuals, and learning materials for GDS usage.
- Create assessments, quizzes, and simulations to evaluate learner competency.
- Update content based on new airline policies, system updates, and industry standards.
- Stay updated on GDS system updates, fare changes, airline guidelines, and industry regulations (IATA, ticketing rules).
- Recommend process improvements to enhance training effectiveness and operational quality.
Education & Experience
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 1 years of experience as a GDS trainer or in airline/travel operations.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major GDS: Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Travelport, etc.
- Strong knowledge of airfare rules, ticketing, PNR creation, queues, reissues, refunds.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to simplify complex GDS processes for new learners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Must be speaking English Fluently
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified in GDS (Amadeus/Sabre/Galileo) is a strong advantage.
- Experience in BPO/travel agency/airline customer service environment.
- Knowledge of NDC, airline inventory systems, and fare construction.
