We are a
leading global energy company
committed to sustainable and efficient energy solutions. With multiple large-scale energy infrastructure projects underway in the Indonesian market, we are seeking a highly professional Chinese-Indonesian Translator to ensure seamless cross-cultural and linguistic communication for our Jakarta office.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Interpretation Support:

  2. Provide
    simultaneous or consecutive interpretation
    (Chinese-Indonesian) for daily meetings, business negotiations, internal communications, and exchanges with local Indonesian teams.

  3. Travel regularly with the Project Manager
    to project sites across the
    Java region
    to provide interpretation support for commercial and technical discussions (occasional business travel is required).

  4. Translation Work:

  5. Handle the
    translation and proofreading
    of project-related business contracts, technical documentation, meeting minutes, presentations, and internal reports between Chinese and Indonesian, ensuring accuracy and professional terminology.

  6. Communication and Coordination:

  7. Assist the Project Manager in effective
    communication and coordination
    with local Indonesian government bodies, partners, and suppliers, and support relationship maintenance.

  8. Administrative Support:

  9. Provide necessary administrative and operational support based on project requirements.

Requirements

  1. Language Proficiency:

  2. Native or near-native fluency
    in
    Mandarin Chinese and Indonesian
    (both spoken and written).

  3. Solid proficiency in
    English reading and writing
    (a plus).

  4. Educational Background:

  5. Bachelor's degree or higher. Majors in Translation, Linguistics, International Business, or Energy/Engineering are preferred.

  6. Professional Experience:

  7. Minimum of 2 years
    of full-time or project-based translation/interpretation experience. Prior experience in the
    energy, engineering, heavy industry, or large-scale infrastructure project sector
    is highly preferred.

  8. Familiarity with the translation requirements for
    business negotiation
    and
    technical documentation
    .

  9. Work Nature:

  11. Must be flexible and willing to undertake
    frequent business travel
    to project sites in the Java region of Indonesia.
