About the Role

We are seeking a
Body Shop Manufacture Engineer
to join our dynamic production engineering team. This role is responsible for planning, developing, and optimizing body shop manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production of high-quality EV components. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in welding, jigs, fixtures, and automation systems within the automotive manufacturing environment.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive or body shop manufacturing engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of welding process, jigs & fixtures, and robotic automation (ABB, Fanuc, Kuka preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with CAD tools and process simulation software.
  • Good understanding of lean manufacturing, quality systems, and process validation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written).


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, validate, and improve manufacturing processes for body shop operations (welding, sub-assembly, framing, sealing, etc.).
  • Support equipment installation, commissioning, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Analyze production data to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and PFMEA.
  • Coordinate with equipment suppliers and internal cross-functional teams to implement engineering changes.
  • Ensure safety, ergonomics, and environmental standards are integrated into production processes.
  • Support new model introduction and localization projects.
