With a focus on strategic investments and operational excellence, the firm is building a new FMCG portfolio company aimed at capturing emerging consumer opportunities in the region.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Director to lead all financial and corporate governance functions for our clients FMCG operations in Indonesia. Based in Jakarta, this role will serve as a key business partner to the CEO and Board, responsible for financial strategy, performance management, risk oversight, and capital efficiency to enable the companys ambitious growth agenda. The Finance Director will play a critical role in establishing a robust financial framework, ensuring operational discipline, and driving value creation in line with private equity expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies that support the companys business objectives and growth plans across Indonesia and the region.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management processes to ensure sound decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Business Partnering: Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to provide financial insights that drive strategic and operational decisions.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance and financial integrity.
  • Investor & Board Reporting: Manage financial communication with the Board of Directors and private equity investors, including preparation of financial reports, performance dashboards, and investment analyses.
  • Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Optimize capital structure, working capital, and liquidity to support sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
  • M&A and Investment Support: Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and integration of potential acquisitions or strategic partnerships.
  • Team Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing finance team capable of supporting the companys growth trajectory and financial rigor.
  • Systems & Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance accuracy, transparency, and scalability.
  • ESG & Risk Management: Embed sustainability and risk management principles into financial operations, supporting long-term business resilience.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as Finance Director, CFO, or senior finance leader within the FMCG, consumer goods, or related industries.
  • Strong background in private equity or venture capital-backed environments, with exposure to growth-stage businesses and value creation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial strategy, corporate finance, and operational finance in a dynamic, high-growth context.
  • Deep understanding of Indonesian financial regulations, tax structures, and compliance frameworks.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic, and commercial acumen with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and mentoring effective finance teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA/CFA qualification preferred.
