Head of Sales – Indonesia (FMCG)

As the
Head of Sales – Indonesia
, you will be responsible for
maximizing market potential, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share
across the region. This role requires close collaboration with
distributors, traders, and wholesalers
to ensure efficient product distribution, particularly in
semi-urban and rural areas
. You will oversee
product availability, minimize stockouts
, and optimize inventory to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute
    sales forecasts and strategic initiatives
    to drive business growth.
  • Optimize
    inventory management
    to minimize stockouts and ensure product freshness.
  • Manage
    product mix and pricing strategies
    to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Assess and enhance
    distributor performance, governance, and capabilities
    .
  • Improve
    salesforce efficiency and productivity
    , including asset utilization such as coolers.
  • Foster strong, sustainable relationships with key
    traders, wholesalers, and local market players
    .

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
    in any discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
    in sales within the FMCG industry - including team management.
  • Exposure to both General Trade and Modern Trade sales management
  • Proven expertise in
    managing distributors in FMCG
    and navigating market dynamics in
    Indonesia
    .
  • Strong
    network with key wholesalers and traders
    .
  • Strong command in
    English communication
    .
