is building Indonesia's first AI-powered mental wellbeing companion for Gen Z. We are currently partnering with universities, hospitals, companies, and local governments, and now we're looking for a
CTO
to join us as a long-term partner.

This is a role for someone who enjoys being hands-on, building fast meaningful tech, and working closely with founders to shape the future of AI mental health in Indonesia.

What You Will Do

  • Take full ownership of TenangAI's technical direction and product architecture.
  • Single-handedly build and own the entire product (web + mobile)
  • Guide and coordinate freelancers to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Make all technical decisions: architecture, database, cloud, security, scalability, DevOps
  • Work closely with the cofounders to shape product direction and AI strategy.
  • Set up the data and evaluation pipelines needed to improve our AI.
  • Prepare TenangAI for the next growth stage

You're a Great Fit If You…

  • 5–10+ years of full-stack or strong backend + webapp experience
  • You've built and shipped entire products solo (or almost solo) before
  • You genuinely enjoy being the only engineer and hate bureaucracy
  • Extremely fast executor; can ship production-ready code in days, not months
  • Strong opinions on tech stack but flexible when needed
  • Based in Indonesia (easier for occasional meetups and future legal/funding stuff)
