About the role

PT. RJGF International Indonesia is seeking a talented Chinese Translator to join our team in Jakarta. This full-time role will play a crucial part in facilitating seamless communication and cultural exchange between our organisation and our Chinese-speaking partners and clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Translating a variety of documents, including marketing materials, contracts, and client communications, between Chinese and English
  2. Providing accurate and culturally sensitive interpretations to support meetings and negotiations
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and tone
  4. Researching industry terminology and staying up-to-date with linguistic and cultural nuances
  5. Proofreading and editing translated materials to maintain high quality standards
  6. Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed to support the Marketing & Communications team

What we're looking for

  1. Fluency in both Chinese and English, with the ability to translate between the two languages with a high degree of accuracy
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
  3. Experience in a similar translation or language services role, preferably within a marketing or business environment
  4. Knowledge of marketing and business terminology, as well as cultural awareness and sensitivity
  5. Strong time management and multitasking abilities to handle a variety of projects simultaneously
  6. Proficiency in using translation software and other relevant tools
