Job Description

  • Record and reconcile daily transactions, including premium income, claims payments, commissions, and reinsurance entries.
  • Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports in accordance with local accounting standards and insurance industry regulations.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accurate and timely settlements.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing required schedules and documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2 years experience of accounting and tax experience, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulation
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance mindset
