Position Overview

An SAP Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP solutions that support business processes. This role involves developing custom applications, enhancing existing SAP modules, integrating SAP with other systems, and ensuring overall system performance and reliability. The SAP Developer works closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain SAP applications using
    ABAP
    ,
    ABAP OO
    ,
    SAP Fiori/UI5
    ,
    CDS Views
    ,
    BAPIs
    ,
    BADIs
    , and
    User Exits
    .
  • Collaborate with SAP functional analysts to understand requirements and design effective technical solutions.
  • Create and maintain
    technical specifications
    , documentation, and code standards.
  • Perform
    SAP system integrations
    using APIs, OData services, IDocs, RFCs, and middlewares.
  • Develop SAP Fiori apps using
    SAP UI5
    ,
    JavaScript
    ,
    HTML5
    , and
    OData
    .
  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing SAP code and workflows to improve performance and stability.
  • Support migration activities such as
    data conversion
    ,
    LSMW
    ,
    BODS
    , or
    SAP Migration Cockpit
    .
  • Participate in SAP upgrades, S/4HANA implementations, and enhancement projects.
  • Conduct unit testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure high quality of deliverables.
  • Follow SAP and organizational development best practices, code reviews, and version control processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with
    SAP ABAP
    development.
  • Knowledge of
    SAP S/4HANA
    concepts, HANA DB, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, OData services, and CDS views is a strong plus.
  • Understanding of SAP modules (such as MM, SD, FI, PS, HR, WM, or others).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Good communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with
    SAP BTP
    , CAP, RAP, or cloud extensions.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • SAP certifications in ABAP, Fiori, or related areas.
  • Knowledge of integration technologies like
    PI/PO
    ,

    API Management
