As the Human Resource, GA and Legal Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing both legal matters and human resource & general affair functions across the organization. You will ensure that all operational practices align with legal requirements while fostering a workplace culture that promotes engagement, diversity, and growth. This is a high-impact role that requires a blend of legal proficiency, strategic HR thinking, and a deep understanding of organizational dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Permit and Licenses, Government Relations, and all compliance related matters
- Draft, review, analyze, verify and negotiate contracts, agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other related documents.
- Provide appropriate legal counsel/support on legal-related matters, and advising school teams on compliance, risk mitigation, and legal best practices.
- Address and assist in resolving any problem related to legal matter, managing legal risks and minimizing potential liability for the company.
Human Resource & General Affair Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruitment and on boarding process
- Overseeing performance reviews and create a performance improvement plans (training and development) to meet the needs of the organization.
- Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and regulations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
- Building and maintaining a positive and productive work environment, handling grievances, and acting as a point of contact for employee concerns.
- Maintain employee records and support employee attendance tracking, leave requests, and payroll documentation.
- Helping Manager to run a daily HR task according to plans
- Manage, coordinate, and support the GA team (Cleaning Service, Security, & Maintenance).
- Manage overall institution cleanliness, maintenance, health, and safety.
- Maintain HRGA documentation and assist with reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Law (S1 Hukum)
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a legal or HR-related role, ideally with a focus on legal and/or organizational culture.
- Professional certificate in legal compliance is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of laws, regulations, and legislation applicable in Indonesia.
- Strong understanding of HR functions, including talent management, performance management, and employee development.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Experience in handling permit and licenses and compliance matters.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
- Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, and possess strong communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance legal risks and organizational goals.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
