We're working with a leading global mining company seeking an experienced Technical Expert - Electrical Field Engineering Projects to join their major capital projects team at an underground mine.

In this role, you'll ensure electrical designs are practical, constructible, and compliant with U.S. standards including the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, and OSHA regulations. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality, and on-schedule project outcomes.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Bridge the gap between design and construction to ensure buildability.
  • Oversee compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA standards.
  • Review engineering and construction methods for safety and efficiency.
  • Coordinate QA/QC, vendor performance, and material readiness.
  • Lead on-site issue resolution and ensure accurate technical documentation.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 15+ years' experience in major capital construction projects.
  • 5+ years' in underground mining environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction, safety, and engineering practices.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills in a cross-cultural setting.
