Restaurant Manager Position Overview

The Restaurant Manager at Aura will be responsible for developing, refining, and enhancing the food and beverage concepts, service standards, and operational efficiency. The role focuses on aligning Aura's dining experience with the brand's positioning, ensuring guest satisfaction, maximizing revenue opportunities, and building a sustainable operational framework for the restaurant and bar.

Key Responsibilities

Concept Development & Strategy

Review, assess, and refine Aura's overall F&B concept to align with brand identity, target market, and guest expectations.

Develop innovative menu concepts, beverage programs, and dining experiences that differentiate Aura in the market.

Advise on kitchen and bar layout, flow, and operational efficiency.

Menu & Beverage Program

Design and recommend seasonal menus, including food, beverage, and special promotions.

Ensure menus reflect creativity, cost-efficiency, and profitability while meeting quality standards.

Provide training to culinary and bar teams on menu execution, presentation, and service.

Operational Excellence

Audit current F&B operations and implement best practices for efficiency, service speed, and quality control.

Develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for both front and back of house.

Establish systems for inventory control, purchasing, waste management, and cost analysis.

Training & Development

Train staff on service standards, guest engagement, upselling techniques, and product knowledge.

Coach culinary and service teams to elevate consistency and professionalism.

Conduct workshops on wine, cocktails, and food pairing where required.

Financial Performance

Recommend pricing strategies and menu engineering to maximize profitability.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and setting revenue goals for F&B.

Monitor food and beverage cost controls and suggest corrective measures.

Guest Experience & Standards

Set and monitor service quality benchmarks to ensure world-class guest satisfaction.

Provide feedback mechanisms to continuously improve guest dining experiences.

Advise on music, ambiance, table setup, and overall restaurant/bar atmosphere.

Qualifications & Experience

Proven track record as an Restaurant Manager or senior F&B professional (minimum 8–10 years in luxury resorts, hotels, or high-end restaurants).

Strong culinary and beverage knowledge, including international dining trends and sustainability practices.

Expertise in concept development, menu engineering, and financial analysis.

Demonstrated success in team training, mentoring, and operational improvement.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Strong knowledge of hospitality market trends in the region.
